Albay bettor wins P67.8-million Super Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – A ticket sold in Albay bagged the Php 67.8 million jackpot prize draw of the Super Lotto 6/49 game on Sunday, March 20, 2022.

In an advisory on Monday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the lucky player guessed the winning combination of 09-04-06-17-12-02 to win a jackpot of Php 67,803,235.40. The ticket was bought in Legaspi City, Albay.

To claim the check, the 6/49 jackpot winner must go to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards, the PCSO said.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

It added that 76 other players who guessed five numbers out of the six of the winning combination won Php 50,000 each.

Meanwhile, 3,157 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,200 each. 38,005 players won Php 50 each for guessing three numbers.

The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

PCSO General Manager Royina Garma urged the public to keep on patronizing PCSO games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.

The PCSO is the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
