Batangas bettor wins P5.9M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

Lone bettor from Batangas hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 5.9 million Saturday, June 18, 2022.

The winning combination of 08-15-11-23-36-33 gave a Php 5,940,000.00 payoff.

The ticket was purchased in Taal, Batangas.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 1,188,000.00 would be deducted from the winnings.

Also collecting dividends were 23 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.

Meanwhile, 1,305 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 20,898 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

Last Thursday, June 16, bettor from Amadeo, Cavite won Php 9.4 million in the Lotto 6/42.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

PCSO General Manager Royina Garma urged the public to keep on patronizing PCSO games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
