Bayugan bettor wins P12.2-M Mega Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Agusan del Sur bagged Php 12.2 million jackpot prize of Monday night, March 6, 2023 Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.

In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Tuesday that the winner will take home the Php 12,171,239.80 jackpot prize.

The winning combination was 26-43-11-18-05-45.

The ticket was bought in Bayugan, Agusan del Sur.

19 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP32,000 each.

Meanwhile, 1,204 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,000 each. 20,679 players won Php 30 each for guessing three numbers.

To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

Unclaimed prizes within a year shall be forfeited.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The Mega Lotto was last won on February 27, 2023 by two bettors who bought the winning ticket from a lotto outlet/s in San Pablo City, Laguna.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
