Bohol bettor wins Php 18.6M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Bohol hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 18.6 million on Thursday, August 17, 2023.
The winning combination of 27-10-36-09-22-07 gave a Php 18,611,973.40 payoff.
The ticket was purchased in San Miguel Public Market, San Miguel, Bohol.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 3,722,394.68 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 52 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 2,474 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 36,275 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on August 5, 2023 by a lucky bettor who bought the winning ticket from lotto outlet in Liberty Avenue, Murphy, Brgy. Socorro, Quezon City.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
