Cavite bettor bags Php 45.6-M Mega Lotto jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Cavite bagged the Php 45.6 million jackpot prize of Wednesday night, January 24, 2024 Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.
In an advisory Wednesday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the bettor guessed the winning combination of 05-12-19-01-28-08 which carried a total jackpot prize of Php 45,638,809.60.
The ticket was bought from Bulatao, Jan Wilhelm L. Lotto outlet in General Trias City, Cavite.

191 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive Php 32,000 each.
Meanwhile, 6,169 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,000 each. 65,899 players won Php 30 each for guessing three numbers.
To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.
As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.
Unclaimed prizes within a year shall be forfeited.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The Mega Lotto was last won on January 8, 2024 by two bettors who bought their winning ticket from a lotto outlet in Sto. Rosario St. Palm Drive, Buhangin, Davao City and Lianas Mutya ng Pasig Mall, Pasig City.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
