Cavite bettor wins P147.4M Super Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – A ticket sold in Cavite bagged Php 147.4 million jackpot prize draw of the Super Lotto 6/49 game on Sunday, October 15, 2023.

In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the lucky player guessed the winning combination of 47-35-02-13-38-17 to win a jackpot of Php 147,354,716.40.

The winning ticket was bought in Silang, Cavite.

To claim the check, the 6/49 jackpot winner must go to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards, the PCSO said.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

It added that 40 other players who guessed five numbers out of the six of the winning combination won Php 50,000 each.

Meanwhile, 1,659  players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,200 each. 32,968 players won Php 50 each for guessing three numbers.

The Super Lotto was last won on August 15, 2023 by two lucky bettors who bought their winning tickets at lotto outlets in Imus, Cavite and Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
