Cavite bettor wins Php 12.9-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Cavite hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 12.9 million on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

The winning combination of 18-27-07-14-11-09 gave a Php 12,938,209.60 payoff.

The ticket was purchased from outlet in Jose Abad Santos, Dasmariñas, Cavite.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 2,587,641.92 would be deducted from the winnings.

Also collecting dividends were 90 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.

Meanwhile, 2,824 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 31,591 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The Lotto 6/42 was last won on March 9, 2024 by solo bettor who bought his/her winning ticket from lotto outlet in Diliman, Quezon City.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
