South Cotabato bettor bags Php 23.3-M Mega Lotto jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from South Cotabato bagged the Php 23.3 million jackpot prize of Friday night, December 29, 2023 Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.
In an advisory Wednesday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the bettor guessed the winning combination of 06-12-28-04-16-17 which carried a total jackpot prize of PHP 23,333,389.60.
The ticket was bought from the lotto outlet at Sto. Niño Public Terminal Mercado St., South Cotabato.

131 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive Php 32,000 each.
Meanwhile, 4,277 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,000 each. 54,706 players won Php 30 each for guessing three numbers.
To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.
As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.
Unclaimed prizes within a year shall be forfeited.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The Mega Lotto was last won on December 15, 2023 by a bettor who bought the winning ticket from a lotto outlet in Malate, Manila.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
