E-Lotto bettor wins Php 698.8M Grand Lotto jackpot

One lucky bettor who used the newly launched platform E-Lotto bagged a whopping Php 698.8 million jackpot prize on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in Grand Lotto 6/55 draw.

In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced that the winner will take home the jackpot with exact prize of Php 698,806,269.20.

The winning combination was 24-50-52-09-51-03.

The agency is yet to give more details of the lone winner.

28 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP100,000 each.

Meanwhile, 1,743 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,500 each. 42,696 players won Php 60 each for guessing three numbers.

To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

The Grand Lotto 6/55 was last won on November 11, 2023 by a lone bettor who purchased ticket at lotto outlet in Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija.

The Grand Lotto 6/55 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.

In December 2023, PCSO launched E-Lotto to offer convenience and accessibility to all patrons nationwide. It is the digital counterpart of the traditional lottery games that bettors used to carry out in physical outlets.
