Iloilo bettor wins P44M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Iloilo hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 44.1 million on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
The winning combination of 36-07-19-26-08-01 gave a Php 44,070,179.40 payoff.
The ticket was purchased in Iloilo City, Iloilo.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 8,814,035.88 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 66 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 2,723 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 42,790 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on April 18, 2023 by two lucky bettors who bought the winning tickets from lotto outlet in Cebu City, Cebu and Cubao, Quezon City.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
