Laguna bettor wins P8.9-million Mega Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Laguna bagged the Php 8.9 million jackpot prize of Monday night, April 25, 2022 Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.

In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Thursday that the winner will take home the Php 8,910,000.00 jackpot prize.

The winning combination was 36-17-29-28-12-05 and the ticket was purchased in San Pablo City, Laguna.

Some 41 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP32,000 each.

Meanwhile, 1,471 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,000 each. 22,404 players won Php 30 each for guessing three numbers.

To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

PCSO General Manager Royina Garma urged the public to keep on patronizing PCSO games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.

The PCSO is the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
