Manila bettor wins P50.8M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from the City of Manila hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning a whopping Php 50.8 million on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

The winning combination of 26-14-11-08-07-22 gave a Php 50,796,013.00 payoff.

The ticket was purchased in Sampaloc, Manila.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 10,159,202.60 would be deducted from the winnings.


Also collecting dividends were 125 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.

Meanwhile, 4,219 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 52,752 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The Lotto 6/42 was last won on February 2, 2022 by a lucky bettor who bought the winning ticket from lotto outlet in Tumauini, Isabela.

Just a day before, two (2) bettors won and will share the jackpot prize of Php 11.6 million in the Mega Lotto 6/45. Meanwhile, lone bettor hit the Php 75.2 million jackpot in the Grand Lotto.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
