Manila bettor wins Php 28.6-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Manila hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 28.6 million on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
The winning combination of 36-38-29-37-41-30 gave a Php 28,612,882.60 payoff.
The ticket was purchased at a lotto outlet in SM San Lazaro, Manila.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 5,722,576.52 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 22 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 714 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 14,872 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on November 14, 2023 by a lucky bettor who bought the winning ticket from lotto outlet in Marulas, Valenzuela.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
