Occidental Mindoro and Rizal bettors win P34.8M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

Two bettors from Occidental Mindoro and Rizal hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 34.8 million on Thursday, July 7, 2022.

The winning combination of 09-10-42-08-13-41 gave a Php 34,838,186.80 payoff.

The winning tickets were purchased in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro and Tanay, Rizal.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 6,967,637.36 would be deducted from the total winnings.

Also collecting dividends were 88 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.

Meanwhile, 3,286 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 48,934 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

This is the first time this month that a bettor bagged the jackpot prize of the government’s lottery games.

Meanwhile, the Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot is estimated to climb up to a whopping PHP400 million by the next draw on Saturday night, July 9.

The PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing lotto games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
