Negros Occidental bettor wins P98.6-million Grand Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – One lucky bettor from Negros Occidental bagged the Php 98.6 million jackpot prize of Monday night, March 14, 2022 Grand Lotto 6/55 draw.

In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Tuesday that the winner will take home the Php 98,551,582.00 jackpot prize.

The winning combination was 09-17-45-39-35-15 and the lucky ticket was purchased in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.

Nine bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP100,000 each.

Meanwhile, 668 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,500 each. 15,489 players won Php 60 each for guessing three numbers.

To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

The Grand Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

PCSO General Manager Royina Garma urged the public to keep on patronizing PCSO games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.

The PCSO is the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
