Pagadian bettor wins P39.3M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Zamboanga del Sur hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 39.3 million on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

The winning combination of 24-03-18-20-28-04 gave a Php 39,292,522.80 payoff.

The ticket was purchased in Pagadian, Zamboanga del Sur.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 7,858,504.56 would be deducted from the winnings.

Also collecting dividends were 78 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.

Meanwhile, 3,067 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 41,348 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

The PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their lotto games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
