Pampanga bettor wins P37.3-M Mega Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Pampanga bagged Php 37.3 million jackpot prize of Monday night, February 20, 2023 Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.

In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Tuesday that the winner will take home the Php 37,251,519.80 jackpot prize.

The winning combination was 17-23-31-10-21-14.

The ticket was bought in Angeles City, Pampanga.

54 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP32,000 each.

Meanwhile, 2,481 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,000 each. 34,097 players won Php 30 each for guessing three numbers.

To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

Unclaimed prizes within a year shall be forfeited.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The Mega Lotto was last won on February 1, 2023 by two bettors who bought the winning ticket from a lotto outlet in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental and Pinagkaisahan, Makati City.

The PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their lotto games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
