Upgraded consolation prizes
Aside from the jackpots, consolation prizes for players who match five (5) or four (4) numbers will also increase.
“Simula February 1, 2026, hindi na lang jackpot ang milyon—pati consolation prizes, pinalaki na rin,” PCSO said.
For instance, in Mega Lotto 6/45, the consolation prize is now at least ₱1.1 million for four (4) winning numbers, to be shared equally among all winners. Similar adjustments will apply across other lotto games under the new prize matrix.
