QC bettor wins P72.2-M Mega Lotto jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Quezon City, Metro Manila bagged Php 72.2 million jackpot prize of Monday night, August 22, 2022 Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.
In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Tuesday that the winner will take home the Php 72,205,456.80 jackpot prize.
The winning combination was 20-33-30-10-08-34.

Some 34 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP32,000 each.
Meanwhile, 2,057 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,000 each. 33,685 players won Php 30 each for guessing three numbers.
To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.
As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.
The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their lotto games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
The PCSO is the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
