QC bettor wins P8.9-M Mega Lotto jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Quezon City bagged the Php 8.9 million jackpot prize of Monday night, June 5, 2023 Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.
In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Tuesday that the winner will take home the Php 8,910,000.00 jackpot prize.
The winning combination was 22-08-20-02-01-45.
The ticket was bought in Novaliches, Quezon City.

43 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive Php 32,000 each.
Meanwhile, 1,819 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,000 each. 27,178 players won Php 30 each for guessing three numbers.
To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.
As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.
Unclaimed prizes within a year shall be forfeited.
Meanwhile, another lone bettor hit the Php 29.7 million jackpot in the Grand Lotto on Monday.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The Mega Lotto was last won on June 2, 2023 by a solo bettor who bought the winning ticket from a lotto outlet in McArthur Highway, San Fernando, Pampanga.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
