Quezon bettor wins P58.8-M Mega Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Quezon province bagged Php 58.8 million jackpot prize of Friday night, September 23, 2022 Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.

In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Saturday that the winner will take home the Php 58,796,739.60 jackpot prize.

The winning combination was 34-24-07-44-21-38.

The ticket was bought in Lucena City, Quezon.

Some 17 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP32,000 each.

Meanwhile, 949 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,000 each. 18,059 players won Php 30 each for guessing three numbers.

To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

Unclaimed prizes within a year shall be forfeited.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

This is the second time this month that a bettor won the jackpot prize of the government’s lottery games.

A bettor from Valenzuela City won the Lotto 6/42 jackpot of Php 56 million last September 15.

The PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their lotto games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.

The PCSO is the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
