Quezon bettor wins Php 5.9-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – First lotto multi-millionaire this month! Lone bettor from the province of Quezon hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 56.6 million on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

The winning combination of 03-31-14-19-35-13 gave a Php 5,940,000.00 payoff.

The ticket was purchased at a lotto outlet in Sitio Ulbok, Sariaya, Quezon.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 1,188,000 would be deducted from the winnings.

Also collecting dividends were 26 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.

Meanwhile, 1,420 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 24,034 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The Lotto 6/42 was last won on January 30, 2024 by a lucky bettor who bought winning ticket from lotto outlet in Pililla, Rizal.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
