According to him, he has been playing lotto for over a decade. Several years ago, he also won a second prize for matching five out of six numbers on the same lotto draw. He said that these lucky numbers are completely random, and he has always picked them as his betting numbers ever since that second prize win.

When asked how he plans to spend his winnings, he said, “Unang-una, ibibili ko ito ng lupa, magpapatayo ako ng mga apartments, private resort at iba pang mga negosyo.

He also urged all patrons not to lose faith and to continue playing PCSO games because a large portion of the proceeds go to the Agency’s various programs and services which help individuals and institutions in need of medical and financial assistance.

According to Republic Act No. 1169, winners have one (1) year from the date of the draw to collect their prizes or it will be forfeited and will form part of the PCSO Charity Fund. Winners must sign and write their names at the back of the winning ticket and present two (2) government-issued identification cards in order to claim their winnings.

Additionally, prizes above 10,000.00 are subject to a 20% tax in accordance with the TRAIN Law.
