Valenzuela bettor wins P56.7M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

Lone bettor from Metro Manila hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 56.7 million Thursday, September 15, 2022.

The winning combination of 32-23-41-04-25-21 gave a Php 56,654,977.20 payoff.

The ticket was purchased in Valenzuela City.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 11,330,995.44 would be deducted from the winnings.

Also collecting dividends were 37 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.

Meanwhile, 1,555 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 24,673 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

The PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their lotto games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
