On March 13, 2023, a lucky player from Bayugan, Agusan Del Sur claimed the Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot prize worth 12,171,239.80 drawn on March 6, 2023 with winning combination 26-43-11-18-05-45.

According to the claimant, she randomly selected the winning numbers when she was playing at one of the lotto outlets in Bayugan. She has also been a lotto player for almost two decades now and she still can’t believe that her loyalty to the game has paid off. When asked how she intends to use her winnings, she said, “Sa ngayon po, ilalagak ko muna sa banko at pagiisipang mabuti kung paano ko magagamit ng tama ang napakalaking halaga pong ito na natanggap ko ngayon.”

The second claimant is a sole winner of the Grand Lotto 6/55 that was drawn on March 11, 2023. The winning ticket was bought in one of the lotto outlets in Davao City, Davao Del Sur bearing the combination 45-29-12-03-26-51. She claimed her winnings worth 29,700,000.00 at the PCSO Main Office on March 16, 2023.

This lucky Davaoeño has been a frequent lotto player for over 15 years and can attest that the chances of winning in Lotto games are real, as she has previously won several consolation prizes. She confessed that whenever she plays the lotto, she always chooses the Lucky Pick (LP) or the random numbers selected by the system. She mentioned that her winnings will be used to start a business selling motorbike parts and services, as well as purchase of real estate.
