Isabela bettor wins P5.9M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Isabela hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning the base prize of Php 5.9 million on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

The winning combination of 02-27-16-29-04-19 gave a Php 5,940,000.00 payoff.

The ticket was purchased in Tumauini, Isabela.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 1,188,000 would be deducted from the winnings.


Also collecting dividends were 81 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.

Meanwhile, 2,873 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 34,899 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The Lotto 6/42 was last won on January 31, 2022 by a lucky bettor who purchased the winning ticket from lotto outlet in Pateros, Metro Manila.

Just a day before, two (2) bettors won and will share the jackpot prize of Php 73.5 million in the Mega Lotto 6/45.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

The PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their lotto games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
