2 bettors to split Php 15M Super Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – Two lucky individuals from Makati City and Caloocan City won the Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot prize of 15,840,000.00 with winning combinations of 18-29-21-48-10-08 on June 11, 2023.

The first claimant from Makati City shared that he has been playing lotto games since 1995. Before that, he had already experienced winning several second prizes in various lotto games, striking five out of six winning combinations. “Lagi ko sinasabi sa mga treasurer ng PCSO na babalik ako one day, yung jackpot naman ang aking babalikan. Nagkatotoo nga!” he remarked.

Meanwhile, the winner from Caloocan said she remembers asking her husband to rush to the nearest lotto outlet to purchase at least one entry for the 6/49 June 11 draw, as the branch was about to close for the day. “Sabi ko sa asawa ko na kahit anung numero na lang basta ihabol mo. Tapos tumama pa pala kami ng jackpot,” she shared. They are planning to buy a permanent home and build a business.

On June 14, 2023, the General Manager of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Melquiades Robles, personally handed the prize checks to the winners at the PCSO Main Office.

The agency guarantees confidentiality for the safety and security of all winners.

The PCSO reminds all winners to claim their prizes within a year, from the date of draw, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City. Otherwise, it will result in forfeiture and form part of the PCSO Charity Fund pursuant to Republic Act No. 1169.

Prizes exceeding 10,000 pesos are subject to 20% final tax in accordance with the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.
