Pateros bettor wins P25.5M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Metro Manila hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 25.5 million on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

The winning combination of 31-41-29-25-20-08 gave a Php 25,490,659.00 payoff.

The ticket was purchased in Pateros, Metro Manila.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 5,098,131.80 would be deducted from the winnings.


Also collecting dividends were 38 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.

Meanwhile, 2,013 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 30,545 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

The PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their lotto games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
